A note from Rachel:

Because healing is messy and weird and nonlinear — and this film captures that in 36 beautifully unpredictable frames. ISO 200: Chill, balanced light sensitivity. Won’t freak out on a cloudy day. 36 exposures: For the full photo-essay arc of “today sucked but at least the sky looked cool.” C-41 processing: Develops like a regular film roll, unlike your coping mechanisms. Effect: Surreal, soft, ethereal, otherworldly... kind of like being alive post-diagnosis.
