Beth Feith

Hello, My name is Beth. I am 49 years old. I have 3 grown children (29,24,20). They have blessed me with 4 grandchildren. Three girls ( 1 & 1/2, 1 & 11 months and a boy (3). I was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma in May of 2024. In May of 2022 I was diagnosed with invasive and surface Melanoma on my face. Specifically my right cheek. I had surgery in July to remove a significant part of my cheek. I was told post surgery that I was cancer free. During the Pet Scan for that diagnosis they found a hemangioma on my liver. Once a year after that they would do a ct scan to determine if it was stable or growing. The scan in May of 2023 found it was stable. Then in May of 2024 they did another ct scan. That scan showed I had a nodule in my lower left lung, liver, lower spine, right hip bone and the subcutaneous tissue of my left hip. The oncologist knew even before the pet scan it was Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma. I went to Roswell Park in Buffalo, New York for a second opinion for the treatment plan. Roswell Park is amazing. I can’t rave enough about the drs and staff. Thankfully Roswell Park has a treatment facility inside a local hospital where I am able to do my treatments and care that I would in the Buffalo Facility. The first round of treatment was immunotherapy along with 10 days of radiation on my back and right hip. I have been receiving immunotherapy treatments every 28 days since. Along with cancer I also have Multiple Sclerosis which makes the cancer journey/side effects more difficult.
