Welcome along my road to recovery! ​As an elementary teacher in New Mexico, I’m used to being the one looking after others. But this year, I’ve had to learn how to let others look after me. ​I was diagnosed earlier this year and I’m happy to say I finished chemotherapy in October! However, the next phase of my treatment involves radiation and multiple surgeries. Because of the specialized care I need, this requires extended stays in Houston and significant travel back and forth from New Mexico. ​I’ve created this registry to help with the practical side of this journey—specifically items that will help with recovery and funds to assist with the travel and housing costs in Texas. ​Thank you for being part of my village.
